Bridge the gap between rehab and performance.

Our Next Level Training small group sessions are designed for individuals ready to move beyond

physical therapy and into confident, independent strength training. You’ll train under the guidance

of a licensed physical therapist in a supportive, small-group environment (4–6 people), ensuring your

form, load progression, and exercise technique are monitored every step of the way.

Rehab and Performance Training in Stowe

Next Level Training

  • Expert coaching from a clinician who knows your body and your goals

  • Total-body workouts focused on strength, stability, and conditioning

  • Safe progression tailored to your level

  • The motivation and accountability of a small, like-minded community

Each session is designed to help you safely build strength and confidence after rehab — and keep progressing toward your goals. Expect each session to blend strength training, mobility, and conditioning tailored to your ability level — with the accountability, structure, and fun that come from training alongside others on the same journey.

Proper Technique

Smart Load Management

Your coach will guide you through appropriate weights, progressions, and intensity levels based on your goals and fitness level. Smart load management ensures you’re challenged without being overwhelmed. By gradually increasing resistance and volume over time, you build strength, endurance, and confidence while reducing the risk of injury. You’ll always know exactly how hard to push and when to scale back.

Safely Increase Intensity

As you get stronger, we help you level up intentionally. That means adding weight, increasing reps, elevating movement complexity, or boosting conditioning in a structured way. Our goal is steady, sustainable progress—not burnout. With clear guidance and coach supervision, you’ll push your limits safely and see measurable improvements week after week.

Every movement you perform in our group training sessions is coached with precision and intention. We prioritize proper form to keep you safe, maximize results, and help you build strength efficiently. Coaches provide real-time adjustments, demonstrate correct mechanics, and ensure you learn how to move well—whether you’re lifting weights, training mobility, or working through conditioning intervals.

Exercise Modifications

Everyone comes in with different experience levels, past injuries, and comfort zones—so every workout includes built-in options. Coaches offer individualized variations for any movement, ensuring you can participate fully and safely. Whether you need to scale up, scale down, or adjust due to limitations, you’ll always have a version of the workout that works for you.

Your 3-Month Commitment to Strength & Confidence

We require an initial 3-month commitment because consistent training over 12 weeks is where real progress happens — stronger lifts, better endurance, improved confidence, and fewer flare-ups or setbacks.

After that, you can continue month-to-month as you build strength and community.

Michele Mannino PT, DPT

Owner, Physical Therapist

  • Michele has known she wanted to be a physical therapist since she was 14 years old. After spending several months (ahem, years) in PT from various sports injuries, her interest was piqued. In 2008 she became a Certified Personal Trainer but quickly knew she wanted to learn more. She went back to school for Physical Therapy and received her doctorate degree from the University of Vermont in 2014. She has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics ever since. She loves working with active, motivated individuals who are eager to learn more about their bodies and how to heal them.

When not treating patients, you can find her mountain biking, running, snowboarding or spending time with her partner, Rob, and their dog, Walter.

Mila Deych PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

  • Mila is a doctor of physical therapy and strength and conditioning specialist who is passionate about getting you back to doing what you love confidently and without pain! Mila has extensive training in a variety of orthopedic injuries as well as pelvic floor rehabilitation and concussion management.

Mila has spent the last 3 years living in the Tetons treating outdoor athletes of all ages and abilities and she is thrilled to bring her knowledge to the motivated people of Vermont!

In her time away from Summit PT, Mila is always in motion, whether snowboarding, rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, wheel throwing average pottery or finding a new recipe to chef up that her partner John (usually) enjoys! Mila can’t wait to make Vermont her new home and meet all of you.

Brian Montgomery PT, DPT, OCS

Physical Therapist

  • Brian is a doctor of physical therapy with a love and passion for helping people feel and move better. He graduated from the DPT program at Springfield College in 2012 and is an APTA board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Brian has worked with people of all ages and skill levels including youth athletes, busy parents, weekend warriors, and elite olympic athletes.

His areas of expertise include foot and ankle injuries, custom orthotic fabrication, running technique training, weight lifting mechanics, and enhancement of whole-body awareness and control to improve overall athleticism and movement performance.

Brian grew up near the Poconos in north-western New Jersey. Between high school sports and college football, Brian is no stranger to training, performing, becoming injured, rehabilitating, and ‘getting back on the horse’ to do it again for the love of sport. Brian, his wife and three children enjoy spending time outdoors with their pups doing the same things you love to do; playing on the mountains, paddling in lakes and swimming holes, and enjoying local VT food and drink.

Martha Turek

Client Coordinator

  • Martha arrived in Stowe many years ago after her college alpine ski team competed in their NCAA’s and she realized this was the place she wanted to live! In addition to alpine skiing she loves to hike and sail. A new found winter passion however is XC Skiing and you’ll now find her often in the woods or on the trails at Trapps. In the Summer months she lives and sails with her husband Doug on their boat in Shelburne Bay on Lake Champlain.

Martha is excited to join the Summit PT team to help support them as well as the company mission. She has a special appreciation for their skills having used PT multiple times herself.
